NewyTechPeople began in 2020 when Linda Apostolidis and James MacDonald joined forces, bringing together their combined 19 years of experience in recruiting tech locally in Newcastle for local enterprise, start-ups, and product companies.

Since then, we’ve been knuckling down on our niche: your experts in tech recruitment in Newcastle. But like all things, we’ve grown and evolved over time, expanding beyond Newcastle, and beyond tech. We’ve added engineering to our portfolio, as well as bringing on more specialist recruiters.

Our brand has evolved from being a niche within a niche, and now it’s time for us to take the next step. Making the switch from NewyTechPeople to NTP Talent feels like a natural progression as we scale up our business and expand into new markets with the same specialised service as always.

What hasn’t changed is our commitment to investing into the growth of our community, both physically in Newcastle, and among our tech and engineering meet ups across the east coast.

We’re forever grateful for NewyTechPeople and what it’s given us to get to where we are now. If you’re based in the Newcastle area, you’ll still see NewyTechPeople branding big and bold on the front of our office, it won’t be disappearing completely.
