The role

We are seeking a Lead Mechanical Engineer to join our client’s Newcastle office as the technical leader within a multidisciplinary engineering team.

In this role, you will lead a high-performing team, coordinating resources across a diverse portfolio of projects, including pit-to-port infrastructure, energy, and large-scale industrial developments. You will provide strong technical leadership and mentorship, guiding the team through complex engineering challenges and fostering a collaborative, solutions-focused approach to problem-solving. 

Through established panel agreements with major Tier 1 clients, you will have access to large, multidisciplinary projects across Australia. You will also play a key role in securing and delivering local NSW projects, helping to grow the Newcastle office’s project portfolio.
