What you’ll be doing:
In your new role, you will be the first point of contact for customers using the industry-leading application, providing technical support for both the software and the connected hardware. In addition to this, you will be:

• Reviewing and resolving software support issues daily, meeting company standards and timeframes.
• Providing phone and email support, logging, and prioritising incoming requests.
• Troubleshooting issues via remote access, SQL queries, and log analysis.
• Diagnosing problems across software, hardware, network, and OS layers, and supporting replication and hosted server environments.
• Collaborating with developers on bug fixes and software testing, and identifying recurring issues to contribute to process improvements.
• Performing software upgrades, rollbacks, installations, and configurations of company and third-party software on Windows PCs.
• Travelling occasionally (locally) for onsite support and training, and assisting customers with the initial configuration and setup of the application.

Experience required:

• Previous experience in a software/ application support role OR a recent graduate wanting to establish a career in software support.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows environments.
• Experience with SQL databases and log analysis.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills with a focus on delivering a positive customer experience.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, and a valid driver’s license (for occasional local travel).
