In this hybrid position based out of Lake Macquarie, you will work within a small development and QA team, where you will be focused on building critical integrations using C# and modern Microsoft technologies.

What you’ll be doing:
In this hands-on position, you will work within a small team, where your primary focus will be on analysing, designing, developing, and supporting critical system integrations. You will primarily code in C# to build robust and scalable connections between the clients’ ERP systems and third-party systems. You will also be a key customer-facing member of the team, working closely with clients to understand their business needs, gather integration requirements, and provide ongoing consulting support.

You will be responsible for providing clean, reusable code in a mostly Microsoft environment, working closely with other developers, testers and architects. You will act as a mentor to less experienced developers in the team and be tasked with providing input in internal meetings where you will advocate for best software engineering practices, e.g. automated testing, continuous improvements and continuous delivery.

Experience required:
You will have 3-5 years of demonstrated experience as a Software Developer, with strong commercial experience in C#. You must have demonstrated experience in building and supporting system integrations (e.g., API development, data synchronisation). Experience in a consulting or customer-facing role, including gathering requirements and explaining technical solutions to clients, is highly important. Desirably, you will have experience with Azure Function Apps or other serverless/cloud integration technologies (Azure or AWS).

You will be based within a commutable distance of the Lake Macquarie office and be able to travel into the office at least 2 days a week.
